If we pare back the design we end-up with something not unlike google search. Here there's no comparison table nor search facets. The search will still work via code-labels (and thus facets) and the links will still go to filtered views of the cubes. You can't edit the facet settings so if you want to adjust your search you have to submit a new query.
There's no comparison table, just the textual descriptions of the datasets. In this wireframe we've extend the text to cover the structural elements which gives insight into how the dataset matched the query. These details could differ by dataset, e.g. showing the rest of the DSD. Unlike the table, equivalent details (facets) won't be vertically aligned - this means they won't be easy to scan visually. This would support more heterogenous data at the expense of comparability.
